Our general shipping guidelines

Salsa Jars

Our salsa is prepared in a clean kitchen and canned in a sterilized glass, FDA passed, food grade safe material. The jar has a “Best By” date sticker on the top of the lid which is typically 6 weeks from date canned. The “Best By” date is not an expiration date, it is a date when the product is optimum flavor. Jars are sealed tightly with metal canning lids and wrapped with a clear shrink band for tamper-proof. Please refrigerate after opening.

Shipping and Packaging

Salsa Jar(s) are sealed in individual plastic bags to in the event of breakage and leakage. The jar(s) are packaged in sturdy boxes with cushion pads to prevent movement. A fragile sticker is placed on the box with the shipping label.

Shipping Carriers

All shipments are filled by UPS or FedEx and shipped in the domestic United States of America. Please reach out to us if you live outside of the country, i.e. Mexico and Canada. Send email to sales at sales@salsaelguero.com.

Shipping Times

We do not offer Next Say shipping, we offer 2-Day and standard Ground services. We may require 2-3 days to prepare the salsa if we don’t have a fresh batch in process.
